Mental and emotional wellbeing
Mental health and emotional wellbeing is important to everyone.
There are lots of things that people can do to ensure positive mental health for themselves and for their friends and loved ones. These could be things like being willing to talk about difficult issues, keeping both body and mind active and being aware of stress and its impacts, and being supportive at times of crisis and emotional distress.
If you feel down, anxious or distressed, you are not alone, and it's important to get the right treatment and support.
One in four people will experience some form of mental health difficulty, such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and others.
