Initially set up in Minehead, West Somerset Talking Cafes have now extended to 12 other venues across the County – it provides a new way to access support from multiple agencies working together. If you would like to find out more please get in touch:

Venues are currently closed but online Talking cafes have recently been set up.

The Community Council for Somerset (CCS) are delighted to announce Talking Cafes are starting up again; not in the physical sense, as sadly venues are still closed, but you can access the same invaluable help and support from the comfort of your own home through a new Facebook Live stream beginning 14th May.

From May 18th CCS online FACEBOOK Talking Cafes will be operating weekdays from 11.00am.

Each day the Talking Cafe will be hosted by district teams as follows:

Monday - West Somerset

Tuesday - Taunton

Wednesday - Mendip

Thursday - Sedgemoor

Friday - South Somerset

Health Connections Mendip Talking Cafés are informal get togethers held in public cafes. It is an opportunity to make new friends or talk to a Community Connector and find out about what is available in the community. Just drop in.
