Community transport & SLINKY
Somerset County Council provides community and accessible transport for community groups and people whose needs are not met by normal public transport. There are various schemes, available depending on where you live, which offer a mixed fleet of vehicles, all with disabled access.
- Community Transport Schemes can provide transport for people or community groups whose needs are not met by public transport. Charges will depend on which scheme you use.
- SLINKY transport service is an accessible bus service that can be used for everything from health appointments to shopping trips. A number of SLINKY services operate in different parts of Somerset.

Concessionary Bus Passes provide free bus travel, subject to certain time restrictions, to anyone over 66 years of age, or who is eligible on the grounds of disability.
