Public transport

Somerset is served by a network of bus routes, offering an efficient and environmentally friendly way to get around the county. Modern buses link all the major towns, and several park and ride schemes are in operation, making travel by bus a great choice in Somerset.
For areas not served by a regular bus service, or for residents who cannot access conventional public transport, Somerset County Council provide a fleet of accessible minibuses, known as the Slinky buses. The Slinky buses operate across the county, with details of individual services available here.
